The Amazing Race

A spectacular F1 race was held in Singapore on 28 Sep 08. It was the 1^st F1 race held in Singapore & also the 1^st night race in the F1 Grand Prix! The event was a total success!

Singapore skyline is awesome! Wow!

It was also a dramatic race. Fernando Alonso started from the 15^th position (due to engine failure during the 2^nd qualifying round), eventually emerged as the 1^st night race winner whereas Felipe Massa started from the 1^st position but then finished at 13^th place (due to pit crew error).

From Alonso’s win, I learnt that we must have the determination to win even when all odds are against us. Never give up!

For Massa’s loss, I felt sad for him. But he won my admiration when he refused to blame pit crew for the disaster caused because everyone is part of the team. They will be motivated to do their best in future. That’s the team spirit which is very important for success! Hope that he’ll do well in the remaining races! & most important of all : Good Luck!
