A spectacular F1 race was held in Singapore on 28 Sep 08. It was the 1st F1 race held in Singapore & also the 1st night race in the F1 Grand Prix! The event was a total success!
Singapore skyline is awesome! Wow!
It was also a dramatic race. Fernando Alonso started from the 15th position (due to engine failure during the 2nd qualifying round), eventually emerged as the 1st night race winner whereas Felipe Massa started from the 1st position but then finished at 13th place (due to pit crew error).
From Alonso’s win, I learnt that we must have the determination to win even when all odds are against us. Never give up!
For Massa’s loss, I felt sad for him. But he won my admiration when he refused to blame pit crew for the disaster caused because everyone is part of the team. They will be motivated to do their best in future. That’s the team spirit which is very important for success! Hope that he’ll do well in the remaining races! & most important of all : Good Luck!
